the tech
behind your fitting
Every recommendation we make is supported by a combination of expert knowledge and advanced launch monitor technology.
Using the latest technology, our fitters analyse key areas of your performance, including club speed, ball speed, launch conditions, spin rates, and shot patterns.
Combined with access to a huge selection of club heads, shafts, and grips from the biggest names in golf, we can fine-tune every detail to help you find the equipment that performs best for you.
Advanced Putting Analysis with SAM PuttLab
For golfers looking to fine-tune their putting, our Stirling store is home to SAM PuttLab — an advanced putting analysis system that provides detailed data on your putting stroke and performance.
By analysing factors such as face angle, putter path, impact, and tempo, SAM PuttLab gives our fitters a detailed insight into your stroke, helping them identify the putter and specifications best suited to you.

Frequently asked questions
A custom club fitting is a bespoke experience designed to ensure you are playing with golf equipment that is best suited to the needs of your game. This includes not only the most appropriate make and model but also the ideal length, lie, and weight of the club for maximum accuracy on the course.
By analysing various aspects of your current form — for example, the angle at which you are hitting the ball — our experts can guide you through the process of creating custom-built golf clubs just for you.
Custom-fitted golf clubs can help every golfer in one way or another, so we recommend that all golfers book a fitting when purchasing any new hardware. Players of all levels will benefit from tailored clubs that suit their game, regardless of ability.
The standard length or grip size won't be the ideal fit for a player's hand size, for example. However, a custom-fit club with the right loft degree can lead to an improvement in your accuracy and your overall game quality.
Ladies and juniors also often need shorter clubs or more shaft options than those available 'off the shelf', so a custom golf club fitting is the perfect way to ensure the best playing experience.
We have five stores located across Scotland where Custom Fitting is available. These are: Hillington, East Kilbride, Irvine, Newton Mearns, and Stirling. Use our store locator to find your closest Custom Fit Studio.
We recommend wearing suitable footwear for your fitting, preferably your usual golf shoes, so we can get an accurate representation of your stance and swing.
If you already have a set of golf clubs, please bring them along too. This allows your fitter to assess your current equipment and use it as a reference when finding the right options for you.
No. There’s no obligation to purchase following your custom fitting. The fitting is an opportunity to understand which equipment and specifications best suit your swing, and the decision to purchase is entirely yours.
If you do decide to order new equipment, your fitter will talk you through the options and make sure you’re happy with your final specifications before placing your order.
Bookings can be made using the links on this page. Alternatively, you can call our stores and arrange a booking over the phone or visit your local store in person and talk to one of our friendly team members.
Demand for custom golf fittings can be extremely high, particularly around new releases. Your fitting will be carried out by an experienced professional, so it can take upwards of an hour to complete.
We ask for a deposit to ensure your allotted time is secure, as well as to ensure we can provide the highest possible level of service when you come in to be measured and fitted for your new custom-made golf clubs.
Provided you purchase a qualifying new-season golf club as a result of your fitting. When your qualifying purchase is processed at the till on the day of your fitting, your deposit will be refunded in full to your original payment method.
If you do not make a qualifying purchase, the deposit will not be refunded. Deposits are also non-refundable against sale items or purchases that do not meet the qualifying product criteria.
Absolutely. Custom fitting isn’t just for low-handicap golfers — it can be valuable for players of all abilities.
Finding the right club specifications for your swing can help you achieve more consistent ball flight and make your equipment easier to use. Whether you’re new to golf, working towards lowering your handicap, or simply looking for equipment that suits you better, a custom fitting can help identify the right options for your game.
Yes. We offer a range of finance options through our finance partners, including both 0% and interest-bearing options, giving you the flexibility to choose an option that best suits your budget.
Finance is subject to status, eligibility, and credit checks, and terms and conditions apply. Available options may vary depending on your purchase and individual circumstances.
There’s no set time you need to wait before having another custom fitting. While many golfers may look at their full bag every 2–3 years, your equipment should ultimately be reviewed based on how often you play, how your swing develops and, if your current clubs are still suited to your needs.
Some equipment may benefit from more regular attention. Wedges and grips, for example, can wear over time, while adjustments such as loft and lie can help keep your clubs performing as they should.
And if you’re interested in the latest equipment, there’s no need to wait. A custom fitting is a great way to see how new models and specifications compare to your current setup and find out if they could be a better fit for you.
